Activity-based solution expected to provide cost accountability and transparency best practice services for VR agencies. Lacey, WA (January 6, 2010) – Alliance Enterprises announces a new business partnership and new options for state agencies who provide vocational rehabilitation services. Alliance has acquired distribution rights for MyABCM, one of the world’s premier activity-based costing software solutions. MyABCM is an international software supplier with more than 15 years of experience and almost 600 customers across all industries (manufacturing, services and public sector). With the nation’s focus on jobs creation, Alliance’s state vocational rehabilitation customers are looking for established best practices to meet requirements for cost accountability and transparency as mandated by ARRA and the use of stimulus funds. Activity-based costing is internationally recognized as a best practice by organizations looking to improve process efficiency and lower costs. Alliance recently completed integration of the MyABCM solution with the company’s AWARE VR Case Management software. Alliance is currently working with leading management consultants to offer a total solution targeting Vendor Performance Management and Profitability Analysis. Luiz Viotti, Partner at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, commented, "MyABCM clearly distinguishes in the cost management arena from the other vendors due to its focus on its global presence enabling constant access to the best practices in distinct industries and to its flexibility in building long-term relationships with consulting firms.” Mauricio Boggia of Deloitte Consulting commented, "MyABCM is a powerful solution to implement ABC models, able to process a huge quantity of information in a matter of seconds. Colorado DVR becomes the 22nd state agency to implement AWARE®.
Lacey, WA (September 28, 2009) – Alliance Enterprises announces that Colorado’s Department of Human Services, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), has selected AWARE® as their new case management system. Colorado DVR is the third state agency to select Alliance‘s AWARE software in recent months joining California’s DOR contract award in May and Missouri’s DVR contract award in July.
The Colorado DVR selection is part of the agency’s plan to improve efficiency, increase transparency and accountability, and ultimately create more jobs for individuals with disabilities across Colorado. The project is a direct outcome of the ARRA Stimulus Act and the nation’s focus on jobs creation and economic recovery. Nancy Smith, Director of Colorado’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, stated, “I am so excited that our staff will have a tool that will make them more efficient and effective at serving our customers. Thanks to the ARRA funds, Coloradoans with disabilities will be able to find the right job in less time with even better success than before."
Colorado DVR expects to gain new efficiencies as AWARE will replace three different legacy systems. Significant ROI is expected as agency leaders reengineer outdated business practices and utilize the AWARE software to reflect and reinforce the state’s streamlined processes. Chris M. Pieper, Alliance’s CEO, noted, “A key part of the AWARE value proposition is the opportunity for our customers to leverage the best practices and knowledge that is shared among our existing customer base. The Alliance User Group is very open to sharing experiences and is eager to help new agencies get the most from their AWARE investment. Colorado DVR will be a welcomed addition to our growing family of VR professionals.”
